As a Norfolk watercolour artist I am inspired by landscapes and the big open skies of Norfolk. Painting has always been a part of my life. My father, Frederick Arthur Simpson and grandfather Arthur Frederick Simpson were both artists, they passed down to me a love of art.
My wife and two grown up children have always encouraged and supported me to paint. Ceilings and walls being the most popular subjects for me to paint, emulsion paint being their preferred medium, I prefer watercolour!
I enjoy and I am inspired by the works of Frederick Simpson, Edward Seago, John Constable, Stephen Batchelder, Clarice Cliff, Martin Sexton and Alfred Munnings and many other artists.
Other members of my family enjoy painting, drawing and creating.
Here are some of their Works of Art.
